Water Babies

Seven starters this week. We had not been to the hills for a few weeks so that was our destination. Started out in sunshine and after a quick coffee starter at Bogor Golf Club we continued on.

 

Clayton tested his new brakes out and found out that minibuses stop faster.

 

No problem, however, and thru the light traffic and up into the hills.

Found a little place to stop where they sold some cold refreshments and then went thru to the forest.

 

Always a nice cool ride thru the trees.

 

There was a waterfall that we had not stopped at before and despite some groans about having to actually WALK an couple of hundred meters we all went “up the garden path” so to speak and ended up at this waterfall.

Bear in mind at this stage the day, and all of us, were nice and dry.

 

Gila and Stumpy couldn’t stop themselves and well, you can see the result below……...

There may not be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow but there is a pair of Stumpy’s prescription sunglasses at the bottom of this waterfall. Despite doing some great walrus impersonations he failed to find them.

Heading home we had a couple of cold wet riders however they had the last laugh as by the time we were on the outskirts of Jakarta we were all very, very wet.
