The hills are alive…….

No we didn’t find Julie Andrews or break out into song but we did find some pristine hills to ride thru. For those that know Jakarta finding anything pristine is a very rare event. Just over an hours ride from Jakarta down towards Bogor Mike, Hans and Bob found this place a couple of weeks ago. The starters on Sunday were interested in finding this place again so we set off on a fairly traffic free run. Quick stop at Bogor Golf Club for a coffee then up into the hills. This place is a national park and while not quite at the top of the mountain it is certainly cooler up there and the ride thru a conifer forest with vines everywhere was literally a breath of fresh air to all.

No I’m not going to tell you the name of the place, you will have to come along for a Sunday ride to find out where it is.

We will no doubt be venturing there again and exploring some of the other roads around the area.
