Chicken Run II

This chicken took a liking to Bob’s bike and stood there glaring at the “other chicken” for ten minutes…. We had to do something to amuse ourselves while we waited for some stragglers to arrive at the fuel station…

 

Finally away about 7.20 and made a quick run down to Batavia Café.

If only the roads were that clear all the time.  Made it before the rain but it then drizzled all the rest of the day. Gila and Nigel managed to find the Gran Melia Hotel after a couple of laps of the city and the rest of us caught up with them there for a fine breakfast. Special reserved Harley Only parking and a 50% discount for Harley riders made this an enjoyable stop, or was it the champagne and orange juice that did that ?

Down to Bugils for a quick one and Gila tried out the pool table for size. Seeing as it was still raining and riding was not as relaxed as usual we found our way into the “blok” for a macho contest as you can see below. Grant and Jack having made it back from a trip to Pabuhlanratu  were waiting in Mad Dogs but by the time we got there they had left.

Too bad about the rain but I guess the fine days are just about over now until the next dry season.

Also good to Chris getting about a bit better now after his spill.
