Only 5 bikes as many were either in recovery mode or away. Alan and Nancy arrived with a plan, and a saddlebag full of food, for a trip to the beach. Sounded good to us and we again set out thru Bintaro to BSD. General traffic was still recovering from a 126% fuel increase on 1 October so we made great time in very light traffic.
Arriving at the beach by 9.20 the BBQ was soon lit and sausages sizzling. Gila sipped Coke Cola (straight) although claiming not to be delicate from Mike P’s wedding the night before. Indeed by the time we left only four beers in total had been drunk!
Easy ride back and although not fast we made good time by just managing to maintain a steady speed which is not the norm for Indonesia and especially in Jakarta. 150Km round trip and we stopped at Bikers Station to check Grants new fenders and a refresher.
Pixie joined just as Alan and Nancy left and he and Crunchy stopped for two at my place before heading home at a respectable 4.00PM.
One of the easiest and most relaxing rides for all due to the traffic levels. May it remain so….( fat chance) There Mike I got 5 minutes off from Chris and have updated the site. Now you don’t have to dock my pay, Chris can.
