Palahembuan Ratu trip, Feb 8th.

 

What should have been a speedy departure from Cilandak Town Square got delayed until 9.45am, an elusive Eggs Benny was to blame.

 

Traffic to Bogor was unbelievable, Ciawi to the P.Ratu  turn off on the Sukabumi road was not only very wet but diabolical.

Nigel turned his hand to a bit of motor cross, he blamed the wet road, had nothing to do with the 6 or so jugs at Lido.

The team heard of the huge tiger that confronted Gila and Crunchy last weekend so a jungle stop was in order, of course would not have been complete without a toast to celebrate the fact that Gila and Crunchy are still alive.

Meet various wives at P. Ratu with hugs and kisses then got down to business, Gila chaired the main J.D consumption meeting and by the close of the evening all the wrongs in the world were put right. 

Pam sucessfully floored another one of Gila's plans to buy another 4 bikes

 

Clive earned his keep by entertaining the ladies and keeping their concentration away from the various bottles that were passing frequently over the table.

Dinner at Deta's proved people do like Harley riders, Fall Down Bob, Clive and Nigel be friended some chap that miraculously cornered Clive, we were impressed.

Fall Down Bob obviously paid off the chef, a story on it's own.

A few, excluding rides co ordinator extraordinaire tried to see the sun come up but un successfully, it was a long day.

All accept Gila, Pam, Hanni and Crunchy departed for Jakarta Thursday, work beckoned.

 

The ride back was great, a little wet but 4 hours.

In general a great time, got to know each other a little better and even meet some friends we had not meet before.
