And then there were two |

|
After 2 days of constant rainfall in Jakarta it was not surprising that only Jean and myself turned up at the start point on Sunday. Others had also been down to Plabran Ratu (Click here to see ride report) during the last weeks holidays. Anyway Jean and myself headed out past Ragunan Zoo and took some back roads just for fun. Ending up at Panglanjati Golf Course for a coffee.
By then we had managed to raise a few others and we picked up Grant at home and down to Town Square for breakfast.

Parked next to a very nicely restored MG TD. A rare find on a cloudy, or any other type of day, in Jakarta. While having breakfast a few of the HDCI boys came in and when we left we spotted this other Bay Boy. Mine is in the background and this slightly customized version is in the fore. Not a common bike anywhere as HD only made them for three years and sold around 3500 worldwide. That makes three that I know of in Indonesia. |

Jean was interested in looking at Chris’s Dyna lowrider so we went around and checked it out. By then Jack had called asking for some help as he had no ignition spark. We ended up reworking a lot of wiring on Jacks bike and hopefully this will solve the problem. Mike T turned up after working in the morning and said Hi. After Jacks bike was operational again we had a couple just round the corner at F39 as it was raining by that stage. Rain finally cleared and all made it home dry.
Not much riding but another good day out.
See you at the Hogfest this Saturday !!! |
