Left is the gang and Gila’s new ride. The bike only had 35 Km on the clock at this stage. We started out heading for the airport but Grants continuing ignition problems started again and he only made it 200 Meters from the start point. By the time we regrouped and got Grants bike going again we decided to just do a city ride as time was short for the airport run. Breakfast at the Gran Mulia hotel then short ride to Bugils. Notice the duck tape on Grants arm, this from a slightly too close encounter with the blacktop the night before.

Clive also had a close encounter with Grants rear fender and followed him down but thankfully not too serious. Ride thru town and managing to just dodge the rain, quick stop at the Automall and then out to Cilandak to catch up with Ralph as there was a new bike shop opening on in the afternoon.

Leaving Mad Dogs and Grant busted the spring on the kick stand going over a manhole cover. Believe me, these things are BIG. Left is Gerard having his own close encounter while Gila was licking up some oil from Grants sump cover. More duck tape on the kick stand and off we went again. We finally got fed up with Gila’s complaining of his sprained pinky so even MORE duck tape was used. This lasted until he tried to put his gloves on…….

Finally made it to the bike shop and tried out the new Police bikes.  The rain caught up with us then and we all sat it and had our bikes well washed.

Short ride in all with only 75 Km all day but lots of laughs along the way.

Hope to get down to the waterfalls again next week. Should be a good ride.
